FOOD- BASED NATURAL MATERIALS We did this activity with the children and enjoyed it very much. I gave each child a plate, watercolors and pasta. The children painted the pasta with watercolors and we waited a short time for them to dry. Then I gave the pasta to the children and explained that we were going to use them as beads. Each child started stringing pasta pieces of the color they wanted on a string. At this stage, we both talked about colors and supported their fine motor skills. While some children sorted colors, others proceeded completely according to their imagination. I guided the children who sometimes had difficulty stringing pasta on the strings. In this process, they actively used their hand-eye coordination and discovered that they could use natural materials in the field of art. At the end of the activity, the children were very happy to show the colorful necklaces and bracelets they made.
